Just a brief review of the PBN 90 dance pieces (like I really know anything

).

Wow! A lot of dancers, and a lot of new dancers too. We're introduced to Tara Avise, Yoori Kim, Tiffany Millari, Marissa Ruazol, Vinh Bui and Leo Morimune. We also get to see Addie Yungmee, Nikki Tuazon, Sabrina Song and Randi Kemper return!

In keeping with the feminine theme of the show, most of the dances are very graceful, gentle and subtle. That suits this group of dancers very well as Randi Kemper, Masako Ehara and Eugenia Huang are some of the most graceful dancers around. Newcomers Yoori Kim, Tara Avise and Leo Morimune each have very strong first perfomances. While Tiffany Millari, Marissa Ruazol and Vin Bui also have fantastic first shows.

I thought Masako Ehara has one of her best perfomances. She always supports and picks up each piece she is in. And of course Tracy Shibata is untouchable in her performance with Nguyen Hung.

We also get to see the Lac Hong traditional dance group. I don't know much about them so I don't include them here. If anyone would like to share information about them that would be great.

Newcomer Tara Avise is great in this piece.

Sabrina Song has very good acting skills too! Masako Ehara is also fantastic here.

Very nice choreography and execution. I think this shows Taeko Carroll with Randi Kemper in the background

Another strong perfomance by Steve Bermundo

Nathan Kim

Chris Liu

Tracy Shibata is incredible in this duet. The next three captures only provide a glimpse

Dominic Chaiduang turns into a Prince, right before our eyes!

Argh, I've been so far behind in the new PBNs. I haven't even watched the one in Korea yet. Grr to college and ****ing up all of my free time. Hopefully I can catch up now that I'm on winter break.

Again, great review of the dancers, soldier_on.

Thanks for the review soldier_on, and the dancers really went "outside of the box" for this PBN. Not only did they have to dance, but act as well. The new dancers blended in beautifully , and it was really nice to see the comeback of Addie, Sabrina and Nikki. The original dancers,(once again), presented magnificent and adorable performances. Props to y'all!

thanks for the review, soldier_on. i know we can always count on you with this. yes, you know everything about the dancers as we do, lol. about tracy, that was one awesome performance. i hope she gets more opportunities.

how do you become a dancer? can you sign up somewhere? man, i would love to dance for PBN. i love doing cultural dances!

sweetazygurl, I think you'd have to contact ThuyNga's choreographer, Shanda Sawyer (I think), and audition.
