What an awesome song! Glad to see Chi Tai returning to his roots. Looking forward to more hits from him. "Em O Dau" is beautiful love song. Very refreshing new composition instead of translation from Chinese or Korean.

I agreed. I first heard this song from Bang Kieu's CD Linh Hon Da Mat and I still think it's the best version.

Really??? I have to get the CD then. There was something missing with Duong Trieu Vu's version. Bang Kieu's take would be awesome. Thanks!

I like Bang Kieu's version of the song. I thought the song for DTV didn't really suit him.

Yes, this song was first recorded by Bang Kieu under Huynh Nhat Tan's hoa am. Duong Trieu Vu was second to cover it. And yet i liked both versions.

My favorite thing about this response from Rolling Stone is... my name. Hey, if you can put into songs "shouting", I think it's darn creative. Now, if you can put into songs how much you love using "khoalitee" in your responses, you too, shall be commended.

Just listened to Bang Kieu's version. The vocal by BK is top notched but I wish he did an acoustic version. The backup vocals in Bang Kieu's version is kinda distracting and eerie. Love the guitars in DTV's rendition.

Duong Trieu Vu's version is much better.
Given that it's more personal and emotional, not quite distracting like BK version.  I was really moved especially in his last two verses.  He was able to showcased his techniques too, and of course most importantly, he's much younger and hotter. DTV all the way!!!!

Uncreative, unintellegent, mule-caudal, shrimp-rostrum, mindless, non-contributing comment solely made to instigate but backfired and just showed that the person making the comment really have the behind of a donkey and head of a shrimp.

Rolling Stone, from the strings of your previous post, your come back statement will probably be something along the line of a 5th grader's insult. Go culture yourself. If you have asolutely nothing to contribute go to some other thread or start your own post. I suggest "Paris y Night for 5th Graders" or "Music for my small shrimp head."

People like you is degrading to the forum.

Looks like you have a fan Rolling Stone. Your post will be quite popular with TayDoc. And how is that a good comeback? I am not trying to persuade the world to like the song. That's my view. State what you think about the subject at hand and stay away from personal attacks. If you disagree with what i have to say, state it and move on. It's not necessary to attack me. Won't change my mind.  Personal attacks only make you a little bit lower than the shrimp head you are supporting.

There are ways to insult people without being kicked out of the forum, TayDoc.

-Anyone else have any else to say about the subject at hand like music, chi tai's song, and the more happier things in life. If not, I suggest and gratefully request this thread be removed. I learned that there's another version of the song. Gain for me!

Thank you to people who can argue intelligently and those who makes the forum fun and valuable source of info.

this is riduculous, many famous songs have catchy lines and thats why its famous because its memorable.
Gimme more, umbrella, Em di, nuoc mat dan ong, etc.  khoalitee just stick to ur gun and define khoalitee on ur own term.
This is a great song after all. Love chi tai's song. DTV rock!

Yeah, it rocks, especially after you had heard the humorous version being sung by the author himself. I think that's the real khoalitee of this song, just some funny repetitions.
